Roof Thatch

This design draws inspiration from the woven branches found on the roofs of Wayuu houses. In the desert, trees yield exceptionally sturdy wood, and the constant winds contribute to the trees’ twisted appearance. The branches are woven together using the dried heart of the cardomo cactus, known as Yotojoro.
